Nine years after the birth of her first child, Rene-Charles, international music star Celine Dion has announced that she is expecting twins.
The news comes as a surprise, just months after Dion, 42, revealed that she and her husband/manager Rene Angelil, 68, were having difficulty in the baby dept. The couple’s double success comes thanks to extensive fertility treatments, Dion told UsWeekly.
Dion told the mag, “”There are no accomplishments bigger than” motherhood. “The trophies and money, that doesn’t give meaning to live [sic] and that doesn’t give you true happiness…a baby — yes.”
Wow, happiness and the meaning of life? That’s a lot of pressure to put on a couple of babies!

We’re happy for Dion and her husband, but we can’t help but wonder why Dion didn’t explore the option of adoption. Furthermore, are Dion and her husband too old to be having children? By the time the twins are 18, Angelil will be 86, which just doesn’t seem very practical.
The twins are due in November. Dion and Angelil were married in 1994.
What are they thinking,why should Celine not have more children just bacause the age of Rene.
As long they are happy and the children will be taken good care of the age dos not change anything.
Rene will either way be a good father and he has aready made it clare just looking att Rene Charles.
He looks happy even though his father looks older than his mom,he now's that they give him all the love and suport that he needs. So i wish Celine and her family all the best and i hope from the bottom of my heart that her pregnansi will go well and they twin boys will be healty. Can't wait for the awsome news :)
